Being Perfect! Why is it a problem?

Life in today’s hyper-connected world has social circles wielding significant influence on the way ‘we should live’, ‘we should look’, and ‘what we should own’.
The Facebook posts of happy families, enviable holiday pics and the finely edited Instagram selfies are driving an impression that the person on the receiving end should aim for these ‘ideal’ (or should we call them perfect) life situations.
The new problem that psychologists are seeing is called ‘Perfectionism’.
