Family, friends and community. Should these be the metrics for success?

Our societal structures are spinning webs of successful stories based on achievements, money, personal growth. Interestingly, these stories generally don’t feature the metrics of family life, friends and community contributions.

Is it time to slow down, stay away from screens (all of them), and connect in real life with real human beings?

Is it time to redefine success in these terms?

This read is an introspective one pondering on above points.
