The ‘Code of Hammurabi’ is one of the first written law code book recognised by historians. It highlights the need for strict rules/punishment to improve safety and decrease risk.
Some lessons for the present day.
Doctors don’t get bonuses for managing difficult cases/patients in comparison to bankers who get handsome payouts for taking risk. Well, I don’t need to explain what happens to them if the outcomes are otherwise.
A must read.
